Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving day we spent with my family. It's amazing how much our family has grown over the past few years.  It was wonderful to have both Jayden and Colby there to celebrate, even if they slept through most of it... I am so thankful for everything God has blessed me with, and especially my amazing husband!

6 Months

Recently we also celebrated 6 months of marriage. It's amazing how fast it goes by. It's been a wonderful and exciting time and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Jeremy! I am so thankful that I married a man who makes me laugh like no one else can, holds my, kisses me goodnight and holds me till I fall asleep, loves me for who I am and supports all my crazy dreams, makes candlelit dinners for me to come home to, puts my needs and wants before his, reaches for my hand when were in the car, still calls me baby, keeps me warm when I'm freezing. washes my car, watches wedding shows over and over with me, and loves me more and more each day. Not everyone is as blessed to have such an amazing husband to share the rest of their life with... I can't wait Baby!

Visiting Family

The days leading up to Thanksgiving we headed down to Seal Beach to spend a few wonderful days with Jeremy's parents and grandparents. It was such a wonderful time and the weather was so beautiful. The rain held off till after we had left which was so nice!

Jeremy's Parents & Grandparents showed us a wonderful time. They live in the neatest town.

The last night we were there we ate at a resturant that was overlooking the ocean and had such an amazing view. We were lucky enough to see the sun set...such an incredible site...

Crazy busy

As I'm sure most of you can relate with being super busy with the holidays! It's such a wonderful time but I promise I will post soon... Lots of pictures to come!

Cowboys

Before I married Jeremy I wasn't a big fan of the cowboys or an football team for that matter. But He always told me that when we got married I would soon become a fan of His favorite team. Well I'm not in Love with them yet and still get bored often but I've got my Dallas Jeresey on and will be rooting them on tonight!

Camping!

We just returned home from an amazing weekend. No cell phones. No televisions. No Internet. What an amazing difference it is to get away from the craziness of life and just enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We spent the weekend up in Chester and it was so amazing and so relaxing.

Just relaxed! We were so blessed to be able to get away! Thank you Halpin Family for letting us come stay at the cabin for an amazing weekend! Can't wait to go back in the Summer time. So many fun things to do that were to cold to do this time...

Oh Christmas Tree....

Our tree Is so cute! I love it.. We bought it last year because and put it up for the first time but didn't get to enjoy it much because we spent Christmas in OK with Jeremy's family. But this year it's a different story! I love this time of year....

Special Dinner

The other day I got off work and came home just like any other day. But to my surprise Jeremy had little a million candles and put them all around the house. It was so special and looked so amazing Just like it did the day he proposed, nearly a year ago! I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband. I can't imagine my life with out him. We've been married almost 6 months and it has been some of the best months of my life...

Going Camping!

A good friend of ours invited us to get away for the weekend and go up to their Cabin with them. We have been wanting to for a while but were unable to because of Jeremy's crazy work schedule. However with that out of the way we decided this was the perfect chance to get away. So excited! Have a wonderful weekend Everyone!

Job Hunting

So Some of you know Jeremy had been working with KbHomes and just recently lost his job due to tons of cut backs... He enjoys relastate but there isn't much of a market there anymore. We are excited to see what doors God is opening for this new Chapter. If you know of any Job Openings please pass on the word. We would both appreciate it tremendously!

Christmas is Almost here!

Christmas is almost here and I feel like a kid all over again. I am very excited about having our first Christmas as a married couple spent in our home, but I am a little sad about not being able to spend it with Jeremy's Family in OK. But there's always next year! Lately I have been so excited to decorate for Christmas. I know its a little early but I was just to excited to wait. So the tree's up and looks oh so beautiful! The stocking's are hung and Christmas cards are being worked on. It's perfect! I love being married and having a home of our own!

Sad News...

We had passed around a prayer request for Jeremy's Bestfriend Rob, and his wife, Jenny who were expecting twin baby girls.  Jenny was due in March and they were both very excited. Recently Jenny was rushed to the hospital due to complications. And today she gave birth to two beautiful baby girls Ashlin and Alexis Cline. I know some of you who have been praying for them have gone through what they are, but I can't imagine having three beautiful babies go to heaven so early in life. I update you just so you can be praying for them during this time. It's a devastating time for them and they need our prayers more than ever! Pictures of the House...

Over the past year we have done a lot to the house... Painting our living room, Dining room, Family Room, Master Bed and Bathroom, laundry room and the downstairs guest bathroom. Although I don't have pictures of everything just yet. I did snapa few of the dining room, living room and the famly room.. I love the way our Family room turned out but as you can see I'm not sure what to put on the walls in the red room... I also have a large wall in the living room that I haven't figured out quite yet what to do.. I thought about a few floating shelves but whanted something that would make a big statement.. So If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to listen! The master Suite has been my latest project and I am loving how it is turning out! Stay tuned for pictures of that soon...

Hiking

So Jeremy & I went hiking yesterday evening. It was so nice to just get out of town for a little while. I've never been much of a nature girl so I wasn't sure how the whole trip was going to turn out but it was a lot of fun and so beautiful. If the weather stays this pretty I'm sure we will be back up there very soon. there were too many bugs on the trail for me so we made our own path... which made for a lot of fun and gave us the opportunity to see some really pretty scenery's.

Baking..

Lately I have had the desire to start baking and trying out lots of new recepies. One of my favorite so far has been the Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk Cookies. They were so easy to make and everyone enjoyed them so much! I found the recepie in a magazine but also found it on a website! http://www.recipezaar.com/129906 Believe me they are amazing!

So yesterday even Jeremy was in the office and I was in a picture mood. Not sure why but I felt like taking pictures. so this is what I had to work with. He wouldn't take a single serious picture. No matter how much I tried to get him to smile normal. I just pray our babies don't look like the last picture

If you've spent any time reading this blog at all, you probably realize that I never take any time to make posts on this blog.  But for once I thought I would take a minute and surprise Faith with a post.  I also don't take too many opportunities to brag on my wife, but she really is amazing.  She will go out of her way to do things for me that are contrary to her personality or things that don't necessarily come naturally for her.  By this, I'm referring to things that she most likely wouldn't want to do, but she does them just to make me happy or with the hope that I will take notice.  Well, I do.  I notice more than I sometimes say.  I also know that more than anything she wants to know that I notice.  Who wouldn't, right?  So if this doesn't say it, I don't know what does!   :)   Lord, bless my beautiful wife and pour your love back into her as she gives unselfishly of herself.  Thank you for the loving heart that you have given her!   I love you, babe!

The little things..

I can't imagine my life without Jeremy. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and am so thankful that I was the lucky girl that He fell in love with. It amazes me, when I married him nearly 5 months ago I was so in love with him. I didn't think I could love more than that. Yet some how, It seems I am continuing to fall more in love with him everyday. He's such an amazing husband. He's so sacrificing and will do anything to see a smile on my face. I love him so much! If you can't tell I love being Mrs. Peasley!!!

Where has the time gone?

It amazes me how fast these past few months have gone by. It's already fall and I am so loving all the beautiful colors, but not a fan of the bitter cold mornings :( Anyways I'm super excited Danielle let me borrow a bunch of cooking magazines and I have been enjoying cooking new things so much.. Its crazy to think that before meeting Jeremy, I couldn't boil water. Sad but very true. But I'm really enjoying it. So Thank you Danielle! Also we just got a new sectional/couch for the red room. I'm so excited...! I'll post pictures soon!

So Excited!!

So we weren't planning on going back to Oklahoma for Christmas this year, but we just found out Jeremy parents are going to be down in Southern California to visit Jeremy's Grandparents in the earlier part of December! So we will be able to visit them and still be able to enjoy Christmas at home this year!!  So So exciting! I can't wait to put up my Christmas tree and decorate.. Seriously I would put it up today if I could...lol 

FortBragg

Jeremy and I both had the day off, which rarely happens to fall on the same day, so last minute we decided to pack up and head to the coast for the night. It was so amazing. I was kinda skeptical when jeremy said we were just going to be camping on the beach. He went once with his buddies a while ago and they all had such a good time and constantly talk about going back. So this time it was just the two of us. Once we got there and set up our tent I was so happy to be just yards away from the waves. I don't know what it is about the ocean but no matter what, it always seems to be so relaxing.

Painting!

So Last week I got the urge to do some more decorating. So We painted the Master Bedroom and Bath and It looks so amazing... most of the down stairs has been painted since we got engaged... I finally got curtains for the living room and Bedroom, that I'm so in love with and now just looking for the perfect comforter.. Having a CalKing makes it very difficult to find a nice bed set... :( I'll post pictures soon!! Now I'm just working on creating some art work for the walls... I'm super excited. Anyways I'll post pictures soon of it all!!! I love love love my home! Oh.. And although it may be a bit early, I am getting so excited about Christmas. We won't be going back to Oklahoma this year but it will be our first as The Peasley's and I'm so so so excited!!!

Great America

So since the summer is almost over Jeremy and I decided to go to Great America for the day. Jeremy has never been before, So it was a perfect excuse to get away and enjoy the day. The weather couldn't have been been better. It was so beautiful and the breeze was so nice. I would love to live down there, on days when its 100+ degrees here...
